Telecommunications

Department of Telecommunications has two majors including System Telecommunications and Field Telecommunications. The academic members of this department are experienced on theoretical and applied areas which provide students for conducting researches on telecommunications areas. At the present time, B.SC students are active on computational laboratory of telecommunications. There are also the other laboratories of microwave, antenna, digital signal processing and digital telecommunications which are active on research and education.  Department of Telecommunications is in active cooperation with departments of control and electronics engineering and Nano electronics research center in research and education areas while it is capable of making money by laboratory of microwave, antenna and telecommunication networks.

Telecommunications engineering is one of the most required majors not only in Iran but also in the world. The graduated students of this major are capable of working at the telecommunication research centers and companies such as refineries, petrochemicals, mobile communication companies, internet service companies and related industries with radar and electronic warfare. The other application of this major is in military services which the government is interested in investing on the related industries.
